When we had to move out in 84 it did feel the same but still supported religiously every home/away games.yes living in Charlton has many benefits and like my wife says we will never move until we go feet first.Michael Tuckerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16528470180562140029noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6329889984642264422.post-50160698036030306272014-02-18T18:15:19.648+00:002014-02-18T18:15:19.648+00:00I lived 10 minutes walk from the Valley for over 2...I lived 10 minutes walk from the Valley for over 20 years. The transport links are brilliant (the A2, BR station and North greenwich Tube). It's near Greenwich and Blackheath, and it has good shops and the best football team in the world. All it lacks is a decent pub. Charlton is highly underrated compared to the rest of LondonAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6329889984642264422.post-75906795981719381372014-02-18T17:39:49.714+00:002014-02-18T17:39:49.714+00:004 generations of my family were born, lived and/or...4 generations of my family were born, lived and/or worked in Charlton. It's an interesting place, full of history. There's even a colony of rarely seen butterflies (Purple Hairstreaks) near Thorntrees Road between two parks and a site of scientific interest. Kirsty and Phil, although I think the latter prefers to smirk into a glass of beer. An earlier series did feature a couple moving to Charlton and thinking of starting a family, but there was no mention of the benefits of Addicktion! But that is probably best practised from a distance.Wyn Granthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17473299774041779419noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6329889984642264422.post-10715313489741993662014-02-18T15:00:16.760+00:002014-02-18T15:00:16.760+00:00Prefer it here in Royal Tunbridge Wells thanks.Prefer it here in Royal Tunbridge Wells thanks.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6329889984642264422.post-36901163264571710212014-02-18T14:26:57.146+00:002014-02-18T14:26:57.146+00:00Not chuffin' likely the area around The Valley...Not chuffin' likely the area around The Valley is a dump.<br />DaggsAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6329889984642264422.post-55064810325847149932014-02-18T14:15:25.578+00:002014-02-18T14:15:25.578+00:00absolutely notabsolutely notAnonymousnoreply@blogger.com
