Some interesting comments by Lee Bowyer on Macauley Bonne who was doubting himself and asking what he was doing at Charlton: Insight on strikers development
Clubs such as Shrewsbury Town were interested in taking him loan, but Bowyer wanted to give him the chance to develop at The Valley. The manager thinks that his hold up play has improved 'like you couldn't believe'. He is, however, still a work in progress.
