Injury crisis hits Chairboys

A delighted Christian Dailly hears the good news

Wycombe Wanderers, Charlton's first opponents in their League 1 campaign, have been hit by an injury crisis: Chairboys

As expected, Christian Dailly has joined Charlton and Darren Randolph has signed terms as back up goalkeeper. At Harbury Lane, Deano's son Chris Keily is expected to sign a contract very soon.

After tomorrow's needle match against Chasetown, Leamington continue their pre-season preparations when they try to regain the Bard of Avon Challenge Trophy from Stratford Town at the Anne Hathaway Stadium on Tuesday evening. Last year the Bardsmen won the fixture 2-0.

referring to the earlier article about support for the team. To carry this to 'off the field ' that is away from the Valley' On my trips abroad usually about 5 times a year I try to spread the 'Charlton message' wearing a badge and often gets a comment and in conversation with people i meet.
Not many people know of the name Charlton Athletic in Kyushu, Sendai or Kaohdiung but I have spread the message that there is another Charlton apart from the Bobby. Many hotel rooms have a small momento with the name Charlton Athletic left for someone to find.
Let us all be the 12th man away from the Valley too; in the Uk and abroad.

An old season ticket can still fulfill a useful function. If it is cut up and a small piece with the name Charlton Athletic (and maybe other information ;Phone number etc) left in various places one visits all helps to promote the name of the Club

I'm happy with the signing of Dailly, but that could be because he was one of my favourite players to ever play for Dundee United (still trying to forget he played for Rangers). I'm guessing he's signed as a Centre Half but he really can play anywhere, he made his debut for us as a striker and became our youngest ever player to play in Europe.
