New interest in McCormack?

Pravda sources are reporting that a couple more teams are showing an interest in Alan McCormack and apparently not Cray Wanderers. We can live in hope: perhaps a celebration meal at the Oxo tower could be thrown in?

Walsall and Bradford are the two clubs being talked about. Presumably Bradford would not be acceptable as it would mean dropping down a division, but Walsall might be, although it always seems a bit of a bargain basement club to me.

If McC is serious about sustaining his career he really has got to take an offer of a move and be realistic about the package he can command. Sitting out the season at the training ground picking up his generous Charlton salary ain't a sensible option if he wants to carry on playing. I really don;t want to have to consider the state of Charlton's injuries and suspensions if he came back into contention for a place with us this season. Sadly he was just so far out of his depth when he appeared in red last term. Good luck to him in his next venture.
