Addicks conclude deal for Hulse

Charlton have concluded a three month loan deal for QPR striker Rob Hulse giving the Addicks a better of options to deal with Kermorgant's long-term injury.

There had been a lot of speculation in the press about Hulse returning to Crewe Alexandria where he was a product of their youth system, but wages appear to have been an issue. Brentford have also been in the frame, but Hulse has been a second tier player for most of his career and a move to the Addicks make more sense: Hulse

Given that there has been some speculation about the 'official line' on the Ricardo Fuller virus issue, what I was told on Saturday was that he did turn up at the ground, but was sent home again because of his medical condition. In any event, it showed how limited we are in terms of striker options.

The Hulse move is a good one in my view.
