Rams look to crush Addicks

Derby County are hoping to bounce back from of the disappointment of their 1-0 defeat at Huddersfield on Saturday by replicating their 5-1 victory over Watford in their last home match when they face the Addicks on Tuesday night: Rampant

The news that Rhoys Wiggins has a double fracture of the foot is a real setback. I would play Evina in his place rather than switching Solly over to the left.

The Blackheath Addick has pointed that so far we have had a win, a draw and a defeat at home and a draw and a defeat away. All that is missing is an away win. The usual suspects are arguing that if Chris Powell does not win one of this week's away games, he should go. A complete over reaction.

Wow, people looking for Powell's head already? I haven't heard much of that to be honest, but in this age of instant gratification, I probably shouldn't be so surprised. They were probably part of the 'Curbishley Out' brigade too.

Heard same usual vitriolic comments about a few of our players on Friday, a few were outclassed, but it wasnt as if they didn't put in a hard shift. So far we've only lost by the odd goal, and if both our disallowed goals had stood we'd probably have another 4 points and all would be rosy? Looks like this season will be a close run thing with most games decided by the odd goal.
We looked a bit out of sorts against forest but suspect that may have been due to changes forced by pending transfers etc.
Palace started well, but apart for the goal we contained them, yes they had more possession, but we had as many chances.
I wonder what impact the changes at the top/finances are having on SCP and the team. Excellent articles Wyn, much appreciated. Jack
