Billericay Town forward Isaac Layne is to join Charlton Athletic on trial, the Essex Ryman Premier club have announced. If he joins the Addicks, it would be as a development player. He is a former Brentford Academy player. A full statement is now available from Billericay Town: Issac Layne

The club has a pre-season fixture against Millwall which has been designated a family day. It is hoped that the fire brigade and police will be on site. A Charlton Athletic XI will also visit.
