The SLP has confirmed that Joe Aribo is to join Rangers on a four year contract, subject to a medical. The Scottish press has said there was late interest from two Premiership clubs, but Aribo had already been measured for his kilt and handed his sporran.
Because he is heading north of the border into a different league, Charlton will receive limited compensation.
I wish him well, but I do think he is making a mistake in joining the Scottish Pisspoor League. For years there has been talk of an Atlantic League which would join Scottish teams in a competition with smaller European countries. Perhaps it could be Roland's next project.
