It has been a roller coaster of a week, but now we can focus on Saturday's match against Stoke City in the knowledge that we have a strengthened team.
Louis Mendez has tweeted, 'Considering what the fears were about Taylor earlier in the week, to keep him and then get Cullen, Field, Leko, Kayal [from Brighton and Hove Albion] and then hopefully Hemed (should find out for certain either way tomorrow) - that’s a pretty tidy last few days of the window.'
It's a great shame that Lyle Taylor has been subject to abuse on Twitter, it's not his fault that Brentford made four offers for him.
A shame to lose Dijksteel, but it's a survivable loss which wouldn't have been true for our talisman Taylor.
