The Ramsgate-based fan says that Roland is stubborn and belligerent, but admits that some people apply that description to him. However, he notes that only one of us experiences the rush of joy that comes from seeing the team succeed on the field. He describes Roland as 'a dessicated calculating machine'.
Everitt discusses at some length the role of Richard Murray and his 'simmering feud' with former chief executive Peter Varney.
