Carlisle supremo resigns

Carlisle United have been thrown into disarray after their owner resigned from the board: Carlisle

Charlton face on pitch problems with no right back for Saturday which may mean an emergency loan. Frazer Richardson is unlikely to be fit to play while Chris Solly has suffered a major setback with the news that he suffered a knee injury in training. An operation will keep him out for three months, interrupting a promising start to his career.

Switching Youga to right-back and playing Basey on the left (as we have a few times already this year) still seems a decent option in my view. Basey gives us good delivery, and is a threat from set plays, whilst Youga looks comfortable enough on his weaker side.

Some have said that this potentially weakens us in two positions. A lot would depend on the quality of any person we could get on a loan. But at such short notice options might be limited and the team would have to get used to an unfamiliar player.
