Symons wants Curbs to stay

Fulham boss Kit Symons has said he wants to continue working with Alan Curbishley. Curbs is with the Cottagers in an advisory capacity.

'I'd definitely like him to stay,' Symons told The Football League Paper. 'I didn't really know Curbs until he came in last time at the club, but I've been really impressed with him. His knowledge and experience has been a breath of fresh air.'

'We sit down and look at all the scenarios that come up in games, and Curbs plays a part in that, as the other boys do.'

Symons also talked to BBC Sport about Curbs, saying 'He's got an opinion on everything, but doesn't ram it down your throat: Curbs at the Cottage
