Mullins rumours persist

Hayden Mullins is a long term target for Pard's and he has been chasing his former player all summer. Rumours persist that a deal will happen sometime next week for £1.5m. The Irons have already identified his instant replacement in Newcastle's Kieron Dyer who can't wait to get away.

I hope we do sign Mullins as I think it would complete the jigsaw.

I afraid that I cannot agree with you regarding Hayden Mullins. I have never rated him and in my opinion he is a waste of space. He is nowhere near as good as Kishichev. Possibly take him on a free transfer but I would be unhappy if Pards splashed the cash on this player.

I have never seen Mullins play but a lot of people think he will do a good job for Charlton - and if anyone knows what he can do, it would be Pardew, so I would go with that.
I heard that Semedo looked very comfortable in that midfield holding role, so perhaps there's another option if Mullins does not pan out.

I'm a bit worried about Mullins as well. I agree in principle with Ken's comments but I've heard from a large number of fans who have seen Mullins and about 90% of them don't rate him at all. On that basis, I'llgive Pards the benefit of the doubt, but please let's not spend a lot of money. I prefer the idea of a hungry young Sinclair getting a run to see what he can do.
