I always thought that Keith Peacock deserved at least a MBE. Some years ago I tried to raise the matter through official channels and got nowhere.

I would love to sign the petition and was tempted to do so in any event (who is checking?) although I do not fit any of the categories. Having both parents born in the UK, I am somewhat an ex-patriot. I was in the Argyle & Sutherland Highlanders (Princess Louise's) and it just says Armed Forces, with no elaboration. There is already a Robert Millar who has signed, so that's close. Oh well, better be honest so as not to compromise a wonderful petition! Good luck....I hope it is successful.
You would think having been in the regiment I would remember how to spell Argyll!!!! Thought I better correct that before super pedant DS gets on my tail (or site master Wyn for that matter)!
