Charlton are determined to hold on to starlet Joe Gomez, despite interest from Everton and Newcastle: Gomez
I think that the new signings, many of them forecast on this blog, are looking very encouraging and there is room for some optimism about the new season. I am particularly excited by Gudmundsson and this clip of his hat trick shows why: Gudmundsson .
Karel Fraeye is working as a scout for Roland's network and having been at Charlton last season he has a good awareness of the kinds and type of player we need.
One might ask what Roland has done for us. All right, I will give you the new pitch, the new seats, and the work at the training ground. Then there are the new signings. Perhaps Belgian rule is not so bad after all.

Can not wait for Blackheath Addicks negative comments, COYR.
WOW that was some hatrick.
future looking brighter that's for sure
If he'd come in year earlier Poyet would still be a Charlton player.
Your information has been accurate again, Wyn. Well done. I'm a little uncertain how many of our central defenders will get through the season without a ban or two, so it's a good job that we've got at least 3 of them. I'm really looking forward to seeing Gucci up front with Vetkelle fed by Gudmunsson and Callum H. Exciting times ahead, I think, when the players all settle in. Well done, RD et al.
I think it's about time BA took a trip to a reputable wine merchant and bought you that posh bottle of red wine .
Am too looking forward to seeing Gudmundsson in the flesh (so to say).
Highlight clips can be a little biased at times. I'm sure Lisbies hat trick against Liverpool or his goal at Ipswich made him look brilliant. Whereas we know he was normally like in front of goal.....
Haha to the first comment. As a wait and see advocate I found some of the negativity a bit much.. All entitled to their opinions of course. But yes, feeling quite optimistic today :)
I’ll probably be back again to read more. Thanks for sharing this with us. Kudos!
