Jordan Cousins has been doing a lot of media (well local, anyway) presumably at the instigation of the club. His message is that he was not jealous of the attention showered on Diego Poyet: Cousins
One reasonably reliable source has said that the intention is to build a team this year at least capable of challenging for the play offs. The jury is still out on that, but the Crown Berger Cup at Welling on Saturday will give fans a chance to take a first look at some players.
Rumours are circulating that part of the West Ham deal was one of their players coming to us for a year on loan. It sounds plausible, but some of the West Ham cast offs who are available would not be that attractive.

I agree about the standard of some of the W Ham squad, Wyn, but beggars can't be choosers.
I think Vaz te would be a good signing!
I don't know many beggars that spend 2.4 million on a striker. Careful with money, prudent but beggars no more
