Ridiculous decision. Jose Riga got the team out of relegation mire and was thanked by not being appointed. Don't think the team has really got back to that level since.
Of all the weird decisions by the new ownership this was surely the weirdest. Riga seemed to have brought out the best from the players and was liked by the supporters and had he stayed we may well have retained the services of Diego Poyet. All in all, it was completely illogical.
