Gudmundsson heading for Prem

Johann Gudmundsson could be heading for the Premier League at the end of the season, reports this morning's Football League Paper. The paper notes, 'Gudmundsson is keen on moving up because there is no chance of him playing in the Premier League with the Addicks, while Charlton know they have to be realistic in terms of bigger clubs coming in to tempt players away from The Valley.'

Stoke and Hull City have been checking him out in recent weeks with a view to making a move in the summer. Bournemouth are also watching him, while Nottingham Forest would renew their interest if they were promoted.

Not long now before we have another wave of "Should never let him go, shows lack of ambition, Belgians out"Etc,. Hopefully he will stay, but if he is seen as good enough then we need to make sure we have a good fee for him.
