Richard Cawley of the SLP reports, 'Charlton could be set to re-explore a move for Armand Gnanduillet in the January transfer window – after a deal for the Blackpool striker fell through at the end of the last deadline. The 27-year-old forward is out of contract at the end of this season and has scored 12 goals in all competitions this season.
Gnanduillet bagged a brace last weekend in a 2-0 victory over AFC Wimbledon to take his League One haul for the campaign to 10. He is two goals behind Peterborough’s Ivan Toney and Mohamed Eisa, who have both previously been targets for Addicks manager Lee Bowyer.
Charlton were at an advanced stage with Gnanduillet but the deal collapsed late on. The Addicks will definitely move for a striker if they lose Lyle Taylor at the start of 2020 – with Brentford expected to renew their attempts to sign him.'
