CARD were at the training ground in Sparrows Lane today to protest at an event for sponsors, although not many turned up (one had been disinvited). It appears that the leading sponsor, Andrew Sykes is pulling out next year: Training ground protest
Why would you want to spend on an Executive Box at the Valley to entertain your customers given the unpalatable fare served up at this "Restaurant" ? Sponsors need to be linked with a successful well managed business product. Any association with a toxicity is best avoided !
Whilst The Police have power to film events I would question the legality of CAFC filming without prior permission protestors who are lawfully on a public highway and not commiting any acts of trespass.
ive tried filming the protest for several of the home games ,the council said ok but club where not helpful in one bit said not permitted to film in the car park weird behaviour from the club
