Andy Gray reflects on his time at Charlton saying he has had a great time with the club: Gray . Whether it's been so good for us is another matter, but one can hardly blame him for injuries and personal problems. Even so, his signing was not exactly a stroke of genius by Pardew.
Gray may return to Sheffield United in the summer, but only if they are not promoted.

I love the fact that Paddy McCarthy is in this article's picture, but then considering the ever-changing and transcient nature of the Charlton first team I'm very surprised that I spotted this.
Who is Paddy McCarthy..... or Andy Gray for that matter?
So that's why he was so cack! He was injured! But I'm sure the modest salary he has picked up has indeed made it enjoyable.
Still, never mind Andy, you go and have and enjoyable time somewhere else whilst the rest of us pick up the pieces of our football lives.

Do not push the blame for the shambles at the club solely on the manager.Who instigated the overseas Acadamies which have provided nothing?Who instigated the Ex Agent Mills as General football manager?Who instigated the Swap deal with the Italians that produced nothing?I could go on but at the end of the day the buck must stop with the Directors
I am sure the directors know that they made mistakes, but what follows from that? Do we want to replace the directors? If so, with whom? It's interesting to speculate about what went wrong, but I'm not sure where it gets us for the future (other than even shorter of money).
Easy tiger!(Pembury Addick, thats you!) You almost make out that he is some kind of mercenary with your comments. His interview is professional & without any noticeable inclination to go & enjoy himself elsewhere. The fact that he has attempted to play for us, whilst battling with an injury, doesn't show someone who is only intent on taking the money & running. He talks of wanting to get us straight back up. Though I'm sure that if the right offer comes into the club for him, then he will be off, but I don't think your words need to be so harsh about a player, who whilst not being the most successful player we've had, has actually given it a good go. We are all p'd off about our plight, but I'd much rather had him playing than somne of the other 'strikers' we have had to put up with over the last few months.
