I have watched Bromley on occasion and he is a classy looking player at that level. Was the best player on the pitch v AFC Wimbledon a season or so ago & ended up scoring a very controversial goal when he should have passed the ball back to Wimbledon after they had kicked it off for an injured player...Thouhgt at the time he was worth a look, but there is a big difference in the levels of football he players now to even League1
That is what would concern me: Leamington play at the same level as Bromley. Chris Dickson came from that level and it hasn't really worked.
So we have Kyel Reid who was allegedly involved in a gang fight at a nightclub & now Ryan Hall who allegedly attacked a referee with an iron bar!Do tou think Parky thinks we need more steel Wyn?!!
No need to be quite so gloomy, Bromley are Blue Square South whereas Chris Dickson was signed from Dulwich in Ryman One South and indeed some nine months earlier had been a cause for concern for me in the Kent League. This means that Hall has been playing two levels higher (and three levels up on the Kent League)than Dickson and, whisper it, a level higher than Chris Smalling at Maidstone.
I should have known that, thanks for pointing it out.
Wyn I think the news that Peter Varney has resigned is intriguing . He hasn't long been back and he is CAFC through and through . There is something funny going on . If I was an optimist , maybe he has just resigned because otherwise there is a conflict of interest with him fronting a new bid or if I'm a pessimist he's either got a new full-time job or he has fallen out with RIchard M ( which I find hard to believe ) Definitely a bit strange !!
