Jon Obika in on loan?

As yet unconfirmed reports are stating that we are bringing young Spurs striker in on loan as a replacement for Bradley Wright-Phillips. It would be his ninth loan away from White Hart Lane.

He has scored against us for Yeovil where he has been on loan more than once and also had a loan spell with Crystal Palace. It was meant to be for a season, but he was let go after disappointing performances: Obika

Charlton have also been linked with the Manchester United midfielder Ryan Tunnicliffe, but Sir Alex Ferguson wants a quick decision which we are apparently not capable of giving: Tunnicliffe

Don't understand this one!

The loan of Hulse in the early part of the season was necessary to cover injuries & worked out quiet well (although I am not his biggest fan).

We have a few young lads of our own, who are pushing for a start - Smith & Azeez (I know he has a couple of knocks lately) & Sho-Silva. Obika not exactly been "pulling up trees" - so why bother. This doesn't send a very good message to our young players - many of whom are England internationals at their age groups (so must be quiet highly regarded by others - even if CP doesn't rate them good enough for first team football.

There may be nothing in it, although I don't see what interest an agent would have in starting such a story. I would agree about our younger players.

Why let Bradley go for a player who cant cut it in the lower leagues you will get more goals if you play Danny green and wagstaff on both wings or play waggy upfront pointless loan
