Mystery new Salisbury owner was interested in Charlton

The mystery new owner of Salisbury City, Otail Touzar or Tawzar, a Moroccan businessman based in Dubai, was also reported to be involved in a takeover deal for Charlton. Mind you, he was also involved in deals for Atletico Madrid, Paris Saint-Germain, Sunderland, Leeds United and Reading among other clubs.

For those who are unhappy with the signings under the current regime, it should be noted that his first signing at Salisbury was Prince Khalid bin Bandar Alsaud, a member of the Saudi royal family. If you have been to Bromley reserves, you might have seen him play.

I read an interesting piece this morning that this guy owns 98% and hasn't put a penny into the club. Another stinking mess as the poor souls at Salisbury are finding out. This same guy has now been banned from the Club. Absurd but then again its football

Salisbury have now been kicked out of the conference. Lucky escape, methinks. And on the plus side, as a Dartford boy, it means the Darts are promoted back up :-)
