Peeters nominated for manager of the month

Big Bob Peeters is one of four nominees for Sky Bet Championship manager of the month. He is praised for bringing in 'organisation and defensive stability' with the win over Norwich a highlight. The smart money is probably on Ipswich's Mick McCarthy: Bob Peeters

In some ways it would be good if he didn't win it as it is usually followed by a run of bad results!

If he is successful, he will be the first Addicks boss to receive a monthly award since Chris Powell in February 2012.

It's good to see him being noticed but the other 3 candidates are managing teams above us who had a better month than we did. McCarthy should be a shoe-in.

The last thing we need! Winning anything of the month is a sure fire guarantee of a mediocre month ahead. Please vote for Mick Macarthy!!!!!

Em, Surely BPs, not there yet. Agree, MMs way ahead, a wily old fox, great at this level, he gets my nod too. BPs, match tactics in the last showing a big disappointment. BPs doing quite well though, can knock some performances, but not the position and rather have that.

J.A. I've read your comments on here before and you seemed quite a lucid sensible chap to me.
What happen man! You've either upped the quantity and strength of your ale, not slept for three days. Gone to pot!! The burden of Ingerland and CAFC together is too much. Or my main hunch is CAFC match withdrawal symptoms. Simply treatable with antibiotics on the NHS, (topical). Gaw on get it off your chest, son. Slayers of the Swiss and San who! got ring about it. Get in.

Oh JA. What was that al about?

A full stop.
a punctuation mark (.) used at the end of a sentence or an abbreviation.

used to suggest that there is nothing more to say on a topic.

In my head JA is a Neil 'Nello' Baldwin type of character.

Has anyone had the pleasure of meeting him (JA that is)?

Is he as real as Derek from Dymchurch (who's no doubt toasting UKIP's election victory!!)?

J.A, let me translate for you:

Oh God, no, don't want that anywhere near our team, it's a jinx. On England last night, what a dull game. Roy should go as that was really bad against sheep and goat herders. Should have thrashed them by at least 8 or 9. He's the wrong man for the job. I want a winner in charge, not a dull "yes" man to the hopeless F.A. S.O.S. Jose Mouriniho - I would love him to be in charge of England. He's a born winner and that's what England need, someone like a Clough figure who can tell the F.A. to "go do one" in his own way.Jose would tell them plain and simple -"I pick the team not you." If Rooney's not good enough, he shouldn't be picked. Simple.
