Bowyer competing with League One clubs for players

Lee Bowyer has told Louis Mendez of the SLP that Charlton are losing out to teams in lower divisions because of the budget he has to work with. 'We’re competing with League One clubs. That’s the reality of it.' The Addicks have been beaten to Sunderland by a striker signing (identity unknown): Beaten to it .

Bowyer has yet to make his mind up about Callum Harriott. Louis Page will be out for 2-3 weeks. Chuks Aneke could be back in training this week.

Charlton won 2-1 at Colchester last night in a late turnaround. Wiredu is claiming the winning goal. Entertaining game

The SLP site at the moment is incredibly slow. One wag remarked that we would be back in League One before a story loaded. In fact Richard Cawley forgot to wind up the clockwork before he went on holiday and Louism Mendez can't find the key.
