Top of form table clash

It's first (Charlton) versus second (Nottingham Forest) in the form table at The Valley this evening. Forest are hoping for their first win in South-East London since 2013 as they come off the back of last Saturday's 3-0 home defeat of Birmingham City. It will be another tough test for Bowyer and his boys, but they have shown they are up to the challenge of the Championship.

Four Four Two forecast a 14th place finish for Forest. They commented, 'Player unrest led to Martin O'Neill's exit, so Forest fired up the random manager generator and within 18 minutes had brought in ex-France midfielder Sabri Lamouchi. Such mid-summer antics don't point to a long-awaited promotion push.'

Their fan file commentator was also pessimistic: 'This season will be different because last time we were fancied to do well and didn't. This year we aren't and we won't.

Charlton have slipped to third in the table after the Massives beat Luton 1-0 last night.

Forest sources are predicting a 1-1 draw: Prediction

There are reports that Charlton could allow new signing Macauley Bonne to go out on loan to Ipswich.
