He was at Hearts last season.'
He was one of the higher paid players at relegated Hearts, but a hamstring injury blighted the first half of his season with them.
Edinburgh sources are saying that a two year contract at Charlton is almost agreed. The Northern Ireland international has been keen to return to England. He was born in Chatham.
