Dillon Phillips will not be first choice keeper at Charlton after he refused to sign a contract extension. Ben Amos will take his place: https://londonnewsonline.co.uk/exclusive-dillon-phillips-wont-be-first-choice-charlton-goalkeeper-as-lee-bowyer-explains-tough-stance/
Charlton have turned down an offer from Middlesbrough for the shot stopper, who has also attracted interest from Birmingham and Blackburn.
While I can understand why Lee Bowyer is frustrated, I do feel that he has got this one wrong and that his treatment of Phillips is harsh. The choice of keeper should be made on footballing terms. Ben Amos is a capable keeper, but Phillips is surely first choice.
