A 49th minute goal from ex Reading ace Guy Sanders was enough to give Leamington a 1-0 victory over Rushall Olympic in the BGB Midlands Division play off semi-final last night. Apparently the New Windmill Ground was wetter last night than Montreal has been in the last 24 hours.
Now Brakes face Stourbridge in the play off final at Harbury Lane on Saturday. The Stour have beaten Brakes three times this season (once in the FA Cup) and are very much Leamington's bogey team. If they did win again, it would be interesting to see if the curious three sided ground of the Glassboys met grading criteria.

Wyn,I'm afraid your timing to visit Montreal is not the best from a weather standpoint. Three or four weeks from now the streets will burst into activity with outdoor patios in Old Montreal, The Plateau, Rue St. Denis and many other areas of this lovely city. The flowers will be up, the many trees in full foilage and it will be delightful. Later comes the festival season such as Just For Laughs and the world's largest jazz festival, which occupies a huge area adjacent to Place des Arts. Despite the rain and cold, it is my hope you are enjoying your visit, receiving a hospitable welcome and hopefully sampling the great culinary fare for which Montreal is famous.
The weather is certainly cold, but the food is great. The Habs are having a hard time of it in the play off series: they seem a bit like Charlton to me - lacking confidence.
