Brighton there as of right

Brighton manager Gus Poyet insists that the Seagulls are top of npower League One as of right, but he is less confident they will be there at the end of the season: Poyet

In such interviews most managers usually say something about Charlton on the following lines: big club; difficult game; confident we can take all three points. Poyet is silent about the Addicks.

I would guess that he doesn't want to rile a club that his son is at, nor make things awkward for his son!

He was on Meridian the other night saying how it is expected that they would start next season in the Championship, and he confident that would be the case.

Thanks for good wishes as I am unable to drive and also unable to work, which is driving me crackers. Not good as I am self employed.

4-2 to the Addicks would be a good score tomorrow, it brings back memories of beating Spurs and Chelsea! Come on you reds.

Not to forget the great day at Highbury. Arse 2 Charlton 4. Not a scoreline I ever expected to see.
