Actually according to that report he did not say he did not want to stay but that he was never going to when he came back because of things going on behind the scenes that he either cannot or does not want to talk about (and that presumably also affected his own thinking). My theory, which I have no proof for, is that if you remember there were some questions about transfer payments after Duchalet exited Liege and I wonder if we found we were owing money and it was decided the only way to pay that back - as we were already apparently over budget - was to sell Watt. As the Cardiff deal fell through - another sale was quickly needed and hence the comment he was was never going to stay.

thanks ken that's plain and simple even for a braindead jock like watt to understand another one who can go do one in the summer get him off our wage bill save 9k a week at least
