With Andy Gray ruled out for the rest of the season due to a stress fracture of the pelvis, Trésor Kandol has been brought in on loan from Leeds, while centre half Darren Ward has been brought in from Wolves to shore up the defence. Fortune is out for the rest of the season and Hudson faces a race to be fit against Burnley.
Kandol, originally from the Democratic Republic of the Congo, has only played in the lower leagues so far, including a spell at Millwall. His goal scoring ratio at Leeds over 28 games is approximately 1 in 3. All goals are celebrated with a somersault. You can join his fan club here:

Knowing our luck should he ever score he would slip and break something.
So that means (if kosher) Gray's injury prevents him being sold. Wonder if that kills off the project to buy a new striker.

Don't know much about Kandol, but Darren Ward was pretty good at Palace if I remember rightly - think he got frozen out by Warnock/Taylor (can't remember which!) for no apparent reason.
I have just taken some Midlands soundings from a Wolves supporter regarding Darren Ward and that was positive. Given that we did not have an awful lot of time to do something this sounds like a good signing.
I agree, it does look like Parkinson is bringing in the kind of players we need.
