Dale Stephens had to be taken off in the match against Barnsley because he picked up a groin injury. Perhaps he might be allowed to recuperate at home 'oop North? It will, however, reduce the chances of a northern club coming in for him.

Maybe he doesn't really want to move? If the club are trying to force him into a move he doesn't want, what better way to avoid it than a minor injury?

Supposedly he was homesick and want to go back up north, but sometimes it is difficult to get to the bottom of things.
