Charlton confirmed their reputation as draw specialists with a 1-1 draw at Nottingham Forest today which saw them fall to 11th in the table. At least they didn't go down 1-5 at home like Millwall.
Callum Harriott scored for the Addicks in the 10th minute, taking advantage of a pass from Jordan Cousins. Forest had more of the game in the second half with Tesche equalising with a volley on 59 minutes.
When Johann Berg Gudmundsson had picked out Harriott 20 yards from goal, the Charlton forward still had work to do, but he shaped up swiftly to hit the ball and delivered a crisp shot that, with the aid of a slight deflection, found the bottom corner of the net, beyond the reach of Karl Darlow.
Charlton would have held a two-goal advantage if not for the efforts of the Forest keeper, who showed good reactions to parry after Igor Vetokele had connected powerfully with a diving header at close range, with Eric Lichaj alert enough to block substitute Lawrie Wilson's attempts to drive home the rebound.
Wilson had been introduced in the 20th minute, following an injury to Addicks skipper Johnnie Jackson.
Harriott was then presented with a chance to restore Charlton's lead after Tesche scored but his shot from a tight angle was saved by Darlow. Forest pushed for a winner in the final quarter of the match and they almost found one when Jamie Paterson shot from distance but it narrowly cleared the cross bar, while Nick Pope had to be alert to stop Dexter Blackstock's header sneaking in.

Half Time the Notts Forest commentary, "We need our players to start playing like Callum Harriott".
Shame JJ had to go off or we might have got a second. Good job we've got the likes of some of this deadwood shite in the side, em!
from a very reliable source rd will pump a lot of cash into the team this is from ellis hart who had exec box rickets yesterday he knows exactly what needs doing
I might have more faith in your predictions if any in your past had ever been proved near correct JA and you also knew where the shift and full stop keys were. Pinch of salt I'm afraid, mate and just more JA speculation. You always know someone who really is in the know, is this repetition a joke? Have you heard of the boy who cried wolf? JA. Like your mate I really know what needs doing. You need to stop running down good players and past heroes and stop wasting yours and other readers time, mate. lol
Your branches don't go all the way up to the top of your tree, JA. Get my drift?
ellis hart that's my contact is that better he sat next to rd yesterday
You said who he was (Ellis Hart) in your first comment (look up above) doh! if you give them capital letters (that's the BIG ONES it's easier to see names. You usually state who your contacts are and your speculation never amounts to anything more than a hill of beans. Get it? So if you said, Roland himself told you, I would think he was telling you what you wanted to hear to get rid of you.
Anyway I have some some good news, I will no longer respond to your top tips. So go ahead and be a dick.
Sorry to hear about Ellis Harts rickets in his Exec box JA, it sounds very nasty, hope he pulls through.
Back to football. Forest blog, Fans Eye View, bemoans their lack of leadership on the pitch. Someone prepared to man up amongst the considerable talent in their side.
That reminded me of a certain JJ and how our teams performance dipped after he left the field. What if?Does a captain always have to be a teams best player? Of course it helps if fit, but personally I don't think so.
I agree - let's lay off JA and concentrate on football matters on this blog.
Sounds like they are missing Andy Reid!
SO R WE
Anyway guess who walked past me tonight>>?? lee bowyer still looks the same what a player he was
Gary Lineker "still looks the same" but I don't think he could do much of a job up front these days....
