Bees manager to get the sack

Most fans would think that Brentford have had a good season. At the beginning of the season, one might have thought that the aim was to consolidate in the division with a lower mid-table place being acceptable. However, instead, they are in the play off places. They will be tough opponents on Saturday.

However, manager Mark Warburton has been told that he will be let go at the end of the season. Owner Matthew Benham, who has big ambitions for the Bees, thinks that the former currency trader is not scientific enough. A continental coach is just what is needed and he has someone from Spain lined up to succeed.

It seems to me that Warburton would make a decent coach at Charlton. He can get a team without individual stars to play together. Perhaps he has a long lost Belgian grandmother?

Brentford have now issued a partial denial of the story, saying that they are planning for 'various possible eventualities': Ambiguity

Another shit owner, could now have possibly shot his own club in the foot if this report is true and Warburton unaware,Its what I would have expected RD to do just to let everybody know who was in charge.
Still might do us a favour on Saturday you never know but not holding my breath.

Obviously he has told his Chairman to stop interfering in team matters, and the Chairman wants to bring in a foreigner who will not argue back. This being the case he wouldn't last five minutes at Charlton either.

no manager can go it alone.. just like all the great managers they all have a good number 2 who stays with them through most their jobs.. we have new managers who bring no coaching staff with them. Clough had Taylor, Mourinho has Rui Faria... goes without saying that what we lack is a structure and a team that know each other .. the setup we have is pathetic and comparable to that of a sunday league team where 3 dads are chucked together ... onwards and upwards ehh

He should do a Chris Powell - keep his integrity and move on. Interviewing someone for his job before the season is over - he could do a Curbs and go for constructive dismissal. His management is totally undermined. Say, once we did have decent British managers who knew what they were doing.
