The CAS Trust is to call a public meeting of supporters to discuss their growing anxieties after what it describes as a disappointing response from Katrien Meire to a request for a meeting to discuss the future direction of the club. More here: CAS Trust

I hope the board ignore them, waste of space mini moaning supporters who can't get behind the team and players.

mini moaning supporters eh - Likely to be a bigger turnout than the Norwich game :) #Snowo

I agree with anon, they really are an ungrateful bunch and looking at their comments on the web very xenophobic. When it comes to rallying the team and players they can't be bothered.

A paper tiger. No money = no say.

Another faceless anti board anti club and owner poster.

I have read huge deluge of comments from lifetime supporters who have said, enough is enough and that they no longer wish to continue with their support of the club. Fact.
You may well say F****k off then, but (Opinion) that seems a bit harsh to me and surely that also would be damaging to our club . All this leads me to conclude that something ain't right, does anyone disagree. As for paper tigers, maybe it's no say no pay.

Yeah and do you really fall for all those comments. Didn't these very same people say the same when Pardew was gaffer and there are plenty of other fans willing to take their places. Let's get rid of the negative anti social types and new positive fans in.

The new positive fans will only emerge if the club is successful, if it is incompetently run it will not be. Div1 won't increase the fan base.

Been a long tome coming.

Since when has being critical of the owner of a football club been an anti-social act. I doesn't sound like you know what you are saying. Do you know what it means?

"There are plenty of other fans ready to take their places" eh? Am I on the wrong site, we are talking about CAFC? Oh yeah, they lock the gates on Sat and turn people away for safety reasons.

The 'anti social types' will leave of their own accord the way things are going. As for getting 'new positive fans' in we'll see how successful that idea is over the next couple of months.

Watched Dervite on TV tonight and I thought he played well. Our other forced out rejects seem to be doing ok too. Have head and league position count at the end of. The proof of the pudding is in the eating as they say.

Personally, I think that we should just keep the faith here, and support our Board, Players, the Team and our New Manager, at this critical time of the season. (That is, we who are the silent majority)!
Unfortunately, the ‘glass half empty’ brigade always makes the most noise here, as usual, with the endless stream of negativity, and endless doom & gloom!
United we stand, divided we fall!
The new manager is undefeated so far. We were unlucky to concede in extra time against Rotherham. Give the ‘guy’ a chance!
Also, I’m sure Luzon will bring a target man in on loan next week(s), when the loan window opens again. As I’m not surprised that we didn’t sign a Striker before the deadline. As they are the most expensive Players to sign – and, other Clubs will take advantage of you in January, knowing that you are desperate for a Striker!
We are better off than the bottom 3 Clubs – and, we are only 1 Point away from 12th place! Look at the Table – it’s very tight down there. One win and things will look a lot healthier.
Please, let’s stay united. Otherwise, the Team will continue to slide. They need our support now! Also, please give Luzon a chance! At least we are harder to beat now, which is a positive start (with a solid foundation to build upon)!
*Without Duchatelet, we would be Bankrupt! Let’s be realistic here! Who else will pay our bills & wages at the moment?
The glass is not always half empty!
Let’s look on the bright side, for once, as it’s the easiest thing in the world to be negative & critical of everything!
If we can just get behind our New Manager & the Players now, then I am sure that our luck will change! As turning on the Board, and turning on the Club, at this crucial time of the season, is absolutely crazy & completely suicidal! (Otherwise, if we start turning on each other, our New Manager, and the Board - then, Millwall will just start laughing at us even more than usual)! Thanks, John.

If you read some of the hostile rubbish aimed at the board it smacks of xenophobia and the sooner these types of fans go the better. Yes I do know what anti social means what a pity people like you reinforce but then the Club is full of these types nowadays and sooner they're gone the better.

Any business that does not connect with its client/customer/ base risks the law of diminishing returns. A football club is no different. RD and KM take note.
You only have to look at what happened to Dartford and Maidstone and their respective grounds to realise what can happen if power goes unchecked.
A debate of the issues can be beneficial to all of those connected with the ownership and support of Charlton.
By all means continue to support the team but do not take a Micawber view that "something will always turn up ! "

Regardless of whether you agree with the board or the Trust you should turn up at this meeting and voice your opinion. The Trust wants to hear all opinions and I suspect that those who think we should let the club get on with things as they are will not do so. Please do turn up whatever your opinion.

What's the point. Katerine has already told you take it or leave it. She won't meet supporters and Dooch isn't even bothered to watch his team. What can anyone do? Write another letter? There's no grounds for a protest, rather then web rants, he hasn't sold the ground (yet). Gotta get over the takeover.

When people claim to be part of the silent majority, on what are they basing that claim?
As for people criticising anti-social fans, it's you who needs to go. I suggest Fulham for your new team. They sit nice and quietly and keep their views to themselves at all times.

OK Definition, Anti-Social behaviour, perhaps one who takes a leak or a dump on the terraces rather than in the toilets. As much as I dislike Rolly's regime I think I will stick to verbal criticism thank you.

Antisocial = someone with a personality disorder.
Does that include all those who are concerned with the clubs management?
All those who to criticise the owner of a football club.
How about the leader of a political party.
The words Hitler, Stalin, spring to mind. You have a personality disorder, if you don't think like me.
