Is Roland a brilliant innovator who is ahead of the curve in his thinking about football or is he as barking as my Belgian Shepherd dog? Pressure is growing for a nursery club system in English football and our sister site, The Political Economy of Football, looks at the arguments: Nursery clubs

I think RD's approach is more than just a two dimensional nursery system it's a hierarchical system, where players who don't fit into the immediate plans of their existing club can play for a club in the hierarchy.
Just like the school team, there was generally always a team to play for.
The advantages of this are obvious.
