Well, we have a consensus there. Location, Location, Location is from South London tonight, but not sure where, but no doubt we will see more flirting between the Hon. Kirsty and Phil, although I think the latter prefers to smirk into a glass of beer. An earlier series did feature a couple moving to Charlton and thinking of starting a family, but there was no mention of the benefits of Addicktion! But that is probably best practised from a distance.
Born and raised in SE7 and would move back if I could love the area and the fact I also work in Charlton its an easy choice. Football, work and family within walking distance love it
4 generations of my family were born, lived and/or worked in Charlton. It's an interesting place, full of history. There's even a colony of rarely seen butterflies (Purple Hairstreaks) near Thorntrees Road between two parks and a site of scientific interest. Where better to live? KPF (Keith from Coxheath, ex-Charlton)
I lived 10 minutes walk from the Valley for over 20 years. The transport links are brilliant (the A2, BR station and North greenwich Tube). It's near Greenwich and Blackheath, and it has good shops and the best football team in the world. All it lacks is a decent pub. Charlton is highly underrated compared to the rest of London
I also live in Charlton and have done so for 47years supported them for as long.I too live next to the ground as long,2 I would not have any other way. When we had to move out in 84 it did feel the same but still supported religiously every home/away games.yes living in Charlton has many benefits and like my wife says we will never move until we go feet first.
