Voice of The Valley has been told that a post-Wembley change in the terms of the deal for the sale of Charlton previously agreed between owner Roland Duchatelet and the Australian-led consortium led to the public spat over outstanding loans to three former club directors.
The fanzines's website claims, ' The information emanating from the Aussie camp directly conflicts with previously minuted public statements by Duchatelet's point man Lieven De Turck.'

Fanzine editor Rick Everitt states that moves to acquire Charlton stepped up in the aftermath of the Wembley play-off. 'It should not be assumed that this renewed activity is confined to the Australian group.'
