I spent yesterday with Charlton fans in the Folkestone area. (For the avoidance of doubt, I did not visit Ramsgate). Everyone is still buoyed by the Wembley experience and the superb weather on the coast yesterday boosted the mood. However, there is great concern about Roland's obduracy and puzzlement about his motivations and agenda.
The pride shown in the Wembley result was demonstrated by a Charlton fan who had a montage of photos of his family at the game framed and displayed in his home.
CASC Trust has been disappointed by the tardy response of the EFL to the concerns expressed about the situation at Charlton, although I expected vacuous hand wringing from an organisation that is not fit for purpose: The EFL responds at last
4730 season tickets sold at Charlton as of now. Like for like sales are up 14% compared to this time in 2016. Just think how they would be boosted if there was a change of ownership.
