The usually reliable Richard Cawley of the SLP has tweeted that Lee Bowyer has agreed a contract extension with Charlton.
Louis Mendez has just tweeted (0950 Tuesday) 'The Times report that Duchatelet doubled his offer to Lee Bowyer on the phone last night. Makes the statement from yesterday even weirder.'
The SLP site cannot be accessed at the moment, no doubt Charlton fans are trying to reach the story. In the meantime, there is a very detailed account in the Daily Mail.
