Bowyer interested in keeper deal

Charlton are interested in a deal for goalkeeper Ben Amos, reports Richard Cawley. Amos was on loan at Charlton and subsequently went to Millwall: Career details

I can't provide any more detail or a link at the moment because the SLP site is not loading properly. However, Cawley has tweeted as clarification of the keeper situation: 'Dillon Phillips will start the season as first choice. His shirt to lose. It's not like any player coming in is a replacement.'

One fan commented on Facebook, 'The other thing is [Amos and Phillips] are good mates so they will have that friendship and respect for each other and will support one another who ever gets that number [one] spot.'

Cawley is also reporting that Johnnie Jackson and Steve Gallen have signed new deals.
