Charlton interested in Marc-Antoine Fortune

Both Charlton and Ipswich are interested in Wigan Athletic's Marc-Antoine Fortune. The 33-year old is out of contract in the summer, so he would be cheap and is not a key part of the Wigan side. However, as this report notes, he is a provider rather than a goal scorer so, if he comes, don't expect him to add much to our tally: Fortune

well from reports he seems to be quite good my guess hes the link between igor and the rest of the team as they all seem to play far to long balls so hopefully he can make it neat and tidy for igor get his form back I wouldn't mind arter back as well

Arter is very good. Why would Arter leave a well backed and stable Bournemouth team, challenging for promotion to a basket case that Charlton currently are ? From encouragement and great tales about Charlton and Roland Duchatelet from KMG ! It is either that or because Arter has gone temporarily insane !

(There is about the same chance as Gareth Bale joining Charlton).

Not sure getting a striker who can't get a game for our relegation rivals and doesn't score much is really the answer.

Sceptical Charlton supporter

we don't need him, I have been saying this for a long time now get a striker is who experienced but not too old and knows where the back of the net is someone like David Nugent would fit nicely we need a goal scorer and that's that
