Crowd will kill Watt if he doesn't do the business

Charlton fans demand honest players and the Charlton crowd will kill him if he doesn't do the business says Bob Peeters. The Charlton coach thinks that he will have no difficulty in handling the player: Tony Watt

Also, BP said. 'I think Tony Watt is a player who needs to play in Britain'. Of course, he's still a kid and good managers need to be able to handle and help lads grow up. Man U. seemed very good at this in the past and it served them well. I don't know about 'wild child' and 'bad boy' reputations. Tony Watt said, something like, 'I wasn't very fit, not being at home I ate too much fast food'. Sounds a bit more like, sad boy than bad boy to me, most of us have been there at one time or another. He sounds like he needs looking after. I think Peeters understands this, but he's no soft touch, he still doesn't want Reza back unless he's totally committed. I'm sure T.W. doesn't want to commit football suicide. What potential, so let's see if we can get the best out of him! I hope it's a loan deal first though.

Sounds like Bob gets what he's given and BP says that, 'he can work with this player'. An unusual concept for an English supporter to digest, but unfortunately (in my view) more and more common in our game. I hope there's a lot more communication about intention between the club and its supporters in this window regardless of any action.

The crowd may also "kill" the manager if he doesn't do the business!

If/ IF Peeters got the sack tomorrow it would just confirm that RD is not going to be the most stable of owners and he wouldn't be the first owner to fit this mold. Riga went without doing anything wrong and if Peeters is sacked for poor results. It will be the consequence of being given half a senior squad. Rovers were never going to lose today, as BP said, compare the benches.
Personally I suggest we kill the owner, unless the cheque book is forthcoming.

If you going to blame then that's the question!

We all need a break, I think, fans and players. Let's just hope that we sign someone this month!

A lot of weight on this lads shoulders. Now it feels like we need nothing short of a saviour! But things could be different after the Brighton game, at least no D. Bent.

I'm about the most disenchanted since Andy Nelson and 'Village Idiots' like Gary Churchouse.
If Watt is all RD wants to invest , God help us.

Peters record is certainly as poor as Hypia in the last 15 Games, Sacked on Monday a real possibility

record of peeters is certainly poor 2 wins in 10 mostly drawing games ,I think the ideal manager take over from him if rd sacks peeters after the next game is martin allen who has done wonders at Barnet who I have gone and watched first hand,Hes brought in players like Charlie macdonald and steadied them at the top of the conference

Martin Allen is not called Mad Dog for nothing, JA. He'd be disastrous. The next couple of weeks will show whether we can continue to dream of better things or not but we do need to turn it around soon.
