According to the Currant Bun Richard Murray stormed into the dressing room after Tuesday's defeat and lost his rag with the team:
Pathetic
One interesting point in the story is the suggestion that Mark Kinsella might replace Phil Parkinson.
Apparently also in today's issue, Charlton fan Kelvin MacKenzie mocks the slogan 'More than a football club' by commenting 'Not even a football club.'

Well, if RM did lose him temper with them, good for him.
We may well get stuck with an 'old boy' as who in there right mind would come and manage us?
Far too depressing.

If that's true Wyn, it sounds like Murray's ultimate frustration at not having the money to change the situation and knowing it's still broken. I don't believe they rate Kinsella, so I'd be surprised if Parky was replaced by him. You can't see the players being particularly moved by an outburst from a Board member. I wouldn't be at all surprised if he wasn't told to leave the dressing room very quickly!
Another internal appointment. I hope not. Mark was a great player but this is not the time to experiment. We need a fresh pair of eyes and someone who can command respect.
I don't believe there is any point in our loan players. they are not helping matters on the pitch and they must be blocking our newer players from getting into the team. It is increasingly looking like another relegation season so at least the youngster could get some first team experience and allow us to build for a future. In addition they have far more experience at playing as a team (in youth and reserves than our first team players
There's nothing wrong with an internal appointment. Our most successful managers have been internal appointments.
Thanks for pointing that out, Mark ;-)
I thought it couldn't get any worse but it just has - discovering that kelvin McKenzie is a Charlton fan.
