Charlton To Finish 3rd

As gloom spreads among the Addickted, Four Four Two forecasts that Charlton will finish 3rd in the Championship. Birmingham City and the Glaziers will occupy the automatic promotion places and Reading, Derby and QPR will be in the other play off places.

The magazine picks out Stuart Fleetwood as the one to watch. They reckon that Alan Pardew 'might have struck gold' with the signing.

They consider that last season there was an 'underlying disregard' among the players for 'the manager's long-term vision' (it would be interesting to know what that was). Pardew will need 'to heal those rifts' and 'get his misfiring strikers back on song.'

With a midfield of 12 year olds and the thought that Darren Ambrose is waiting to return, I would say 3rd from bottom is far more likely
