Super Hoops supremo Ian Dowie has received the vote of confidence from co-owner Flavio Briatore before a ball has been kicked. Briatore dismissed reports that Dowie was under pressure and would be dismissed if the club was not promoted this season. 'I have never said to the manager that you have to deliver or you are out,' said Briatore. 'That is not the way I do business.'
I wonder what odds one could get on Alan Curbishley, Ian Dowie and Alan Pardew all having moved on before the end of the season.
