Leamington went down 2-0 to Midland Alliance side Stratford Town at the sparkling new and very neat Anne Hathaway Stadium in front of a crowd of over 400 last night. The Bardsmen sallied forth from the kick off and were 2-0 up within 15 minutes, both goals down to unusual errors by Brakes custodian Richard Morris.
Brakes fought hard to get back in the game with good work down the wings by Richard Towers and Mark Bellingham coming close to scoring more than once. Marcus Jackson looked very speedy on the ball when he came on. However, this time the 'two nil or not two nil' chant belonged to the Bardsmen.
