Bent bid rejected

Charlton have turned down an offer from Cardiff City as it does not meet their £2m valuation. It is believed that the Bluebirds offered in the region of £1m. Charlton feel confident about rejecting the offer as other clubs are said to be interested.

Bent is currently costing us £100,000 a month in wages, but we should be able to hold out for around £1.5m.

Alan Pardew has confirmed that Real Betis are interested in Bougherra, but a fee has not been agreed.

Hopefully we can get 1.5, but I'd be happy to get 1 million to get rid of the wage bill

Typical Cafc, still yet to realise what everyone else already knows.
